Pakistan-India Clean River Initiative
People living in Pakistan and India throw garbage into a flowing river. Once upon a time, garbage was of a natural nature, so it decomposed quickly and was not visible. Now garbage is plastic, difficult to decompose and rots in flowing rivers for several years.This garbage stinks and obstructs the flow of the river. The water in such rivers is permanently degraded.
We propose:
- Clean all the rivers of Pakistan and India.
- Regularly educate children and adults about the cleanliness of their home surroundings and especially the surroundings of rivers.
- Ensure regular waste collection and disposal.
